Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of improving both quality of diagnosis and efficacy of treatment of patients with ischaemic heart disease complicated with cardiac failure. Based on studying the distinguishing features of cardiac failure at various stages of its development, diagnostic criteria were determined as well as novel methods were worked out for cardiac failure diagnosis, which facilitated the recognition of that pathological condition, beginning from an early preclinical stage. Timely diagnosis of cardiac failure in patients with ischaemic heart disease allows more effective therapeutic measures to be conducted at the early stage of disease. Proposed for that purpose are novel methods of treatment with an account for the revealed features of cardiac failure manifestations at various stages of its development.
