Zelens'ka L. Theoretical and methodological fundamentals of designing and implementing the means of teaching geography (regional component).

The dissertation is devoted to the issues of theory and methodology of designing means of teaching regional geography. Appoachee to designing and practical implementation of the traditional and computer-assiasted means of instuction are substantiated. The set of means for teaching the regional geagraphy has been suggested which includes a comprehensive description of the content of geographical information base. The set include atlases and maps in the traditional and electronic variants, the verbal means of instuction (text-books and computer soft ware), natural objects, ect. Ways of involving the historiccaly-oriented geographical information into the press of designing means of instruction have also been suggested. Pedagogical investigations have been carried out to define the structure and content of the semantic field of the regional geagraphical domain of knowledge.
