Essay

New and adequate mathematical models of cell population growth kinetics have been created. It was shown that the cells with cancer phenotype can appear through the series of the permanent nonmutational changes in mitotic activity of the normal cells by autoselection mechanism. The cellular composition of cancer cell populations is a trigger like system, for which the necessary conditions have been obtained.
