Essay

The dissertation deals with a study of the endocrine, neurochemical and biochemical mechanisms of disorders of the stress-reactivity based on the indi-ces of the functional state of the stress-realizing and stress-limiting systems in rats with the syndrome of prenatal stress. It is demonstrated that not only the genetic program of the organisms takes part in the formation of the neuroendo-crine mechanisms of the stress-limiting and stress-realizing systems and their correlations, but also prenatal factors which are capable to impair the hormone-mediated imprinting. Regional sensitivity of the neurochemical mechanisms of separate structures to the action of stress effect on the brain during the prenatal period of an individual development has been detected. It has been proved that a weakening of stress reactivity in rats with the syndrome of prenatal stress vecurs under conditions of a decrease of the capacity and power of the neuro-endocrine and biochemical components of the stress-limiting system. Ont he basis of the obtained data a conception of structural, neurochemical and bio-chemical disintegration of the stress-realizing and stress-limiting systems has been formulated. As a result, there vecurs an impairment of the regulating con-tinuity of the stress reactivity.
