The changes of both structural-functional state of erythrocytes membranes and hormonal profile depending on age and during antihypertensive therapy by captoprile, enalaprile maleat, propranolol have been studied at 196 patients with essential hypertension Ist, IInd stade (age 30-74). The negative changes in membrane structure have been noticed at old patients. There is possibility to correct these changes by captoprile. The membrane-protective properties of inhibitors of angiotensine-converting enzyme have been also stated. Two variants of changes of membranes and humoral regulation have been proposed for patients with essential hypertension. The approach of choice optimization of antihypertensive preparation has been proposed. To correct activity of sympatoadrenal system the dalargin-electrophoresis could be used.
