Object of the investigation - Process of management of secondary educational institutions. Purpose of the investigation - to determine, on the basis of system-structural analysis, psychological components of the process of management of secondary educational institutions and to determine social-psychological factors and conditions of its efficiency increasing. Methods of the investigation: diagnostics, active social-psychological training, psychological support, statistics. Theoretical and practical results: contents, structure and psychological components of the process of management of secondary educational institutions are determined; management peculiarities in the secondary education system are described in comparison with management in others social sectors; contents and structure of readiness of secondary educational institutions managers to the management are determined; system of psychological conditions and means of the development of this readiness is worked out; objectives and direction s of Applied Management Psychology in the secondary educational system are formulated; a Model of psychological-managerial counseling of managers is developed. Scientific innovation: Concept of psychological support of the management of secondary educational institutions is developed. Applications: System of formation of psychological readiness of secondary educational institutions managers to management, and training of applied psychologists to psychological support of management was introduced in the Central Re-Certification Institute of APS of Ukraine, Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management, Ternopil Institute of Experimental Pedagogical Education etc. Application sphere: Training system of Managers and Applied Psychologists for secondary educational Institutions.
