A system of new power-saving management methods, equipment, and techniques of growing and finishing Red Steppe bulls in the southern Ukraine was developed and experimentally tested. The most advantageous methods, from the point of view of power-saving, was the production sequence where at the 1st and 2nd growing stages calves were kept in group stalls with boxes, whereas at the final stage either a new deep litter with graining in restructured building was used.
