Object of investigation is theory and practice of forensic - expert activity forma-tion. Aim of investigation - is complex inter - subject development of concep-tual basis of forensic expertise in present conditions. Methods of investiegation and apparatus a)- general scientific ( concrete - scientific), systemic, logical - juridical, comparative - legal; b) personal - scientific - (psycho-logical, logical, correlative, functional and modeling); c) concrete - sociological - (interviewing, questionings, studying of the criminal cases); d) statistical - (observation, grouping, summarizing, indices analyses). Theo-retical results and novelty: dissertation substantially enriches theoretical state of criminal science. In the dissertation are substantiated a number of new positions and conclusions, which significantly widen and deepen the context, structure and conceptual apparatus of general theory of forensic expertise. Practical results and novelty:- on the basis of the of forensic ex-pertise theoretical conception, developed by the author, formulations of the theoretical structures, touching upon it's separate structural elements and new directions of it's development - there are created the conditions for the further optimization of forensic - expert activity, raising of effectiveness of scientific - technological progress achievements in combating crime. Practi-cal significance of the achieved results consists also in the fact that data, conclusions and recommendations formulated in the work - are used for improving of criminal - legal system, development of normative basis in the field of the science and technology application in combat with crime, optimization of law enforcement organs and expert institutions of Azerbaidjan structure, in training, improvement of lawyers and specialists in the field of forensic expertise qualification. Subject and level of application - propositions and recommendations are taken into account in development of the Law of Azrbaidjan Republic "On state forensic - expertise a ctivity" and Criminal - legal code of Azerbaidjan republic. Instillation effectiveness - propositions and recommendations re-ceived a high appraisal. Sphere of application -legal and training process, investigation and trial practice.
