Lastkov D. Basic Hygienic Principles of Preventing Adverse Effects of Physical Industrial Hazards on Coal Miners

The object of the research: coal mines; miners of principle professions; volunteers in chamber experiment; laboratory animals. The purpose of the research: to determine laws governing the action of a complex of basic physical industrial hazards (PIH) in coal miners, to substantiate and develop a system of the evaluation, control and sanitation of working conditions, prognostication and prophylaxis of their adverse effects. Methods and equipment: hygienic, radiometric, physiologic; equipment of explosion - proof design. Theoretical results and novelty: new criteria for a high professional risk in coal miners have been determined. Practical results and novelty: the principles of a complex hygienic evaluation of working conditions of coal miners in a combined action of the basic PIH have been developed and substantiated. The subject and degree of inculcation: a system of preventing an adverse PIH effect has been inculcated into practice. The inculcation efficiency: a rise in the social and economic eff iciency of sanitary measures, improvement of the teaching process. The sphere of application: treatment-and-prophylactic and educational establishments.
