Kejda F. Gaidamachinna artistic interpretation in Ukrainian literature of XIX-XX centuries

The dissertation is devoted to the research of Gaidamachinna motions art conception in Ukrainian literature, to the study of Guidamachinna peculiarities in works, written during XIX - XX centuries. The influence of Ukrainian, Polish, Russian and Western Europe historiography on works about Gaidamachinna is investigated, the ideological-aesthetic role of historic documents in modeling of events and personalities is determined. The candidate for a degree determines the role of Gaidamachinna as one of the forms of the Ukrainians national liberation struggle in etnos historic development as well as the pe-culiarity of this theme embodiment in fiction. In dissertation the national sources of this literary phe-nomenon are shown, the role of people's creative work in art formation and progress is analysed, main principles and leading "mechanisms" of images creation in works devoted to Gaidamachinna are out-lined. Many "forgotten" and not popular works are introduced into science turn; the place and role of li t-erary Gadamakiana in the national literary process is well grounded.
