Essay

Objekt: spring barley mutation breeding. Subject: the methods of induction and use of mutation. Aim: to increase mutation breeding efficiency and to create new cultivars. Methods: mutagenesis, hybridization, their combination, analysis of variance. Results: there has been carried out a new solution of research problem for increasing the efficiency of mutation breeding by means of the elaboration of highly resultative modified-mutation ways of induction and the use of mutations and mutation-combination techniques based on the combination of 3 factors (vacuum-infiltration of a modifier, a mutagene and an intensive genotype). There have been inculcated some elaborated methods and 7 spring barley cultivars created. Field of inculcalcation: plant breeding and agriculture.
