Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of the roles of autonomic and humoral regulation in the development, progress and therapy of Congestive Heart Failure. It is shown that in the case of CHF heart rate variability is decreased directly proportional to: both the increase of sympathetic and decrease of parasympathetic influence, the rise in activity of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone mechanism. Baroreceptor function is also disturbed and the correlation between the autonomic, hemodynamical and humoral type, the ethiology of the heart failure, the type of left ventricular dysfunction, and also upon the influence of therapy
