Shape formation of profiles with periodically repeating corrugations.Development of scientific fundamentals, working out and investigation of manufacturing methods of profiles of high stiffness by means of the method of roll forming, organization of their production and introduction. Method of continium mechanics with the use of displasement velosity fields, theory of final plastic deformation, energy method of calculation of plate stability. Experimental invastigations with the use of methods of mathematical modelling, electric strain measurement, coordinate grids, moulds, special technics. Complex methods of theoretical calculation of the main technological parameters of a new process, which is the foundation for industrial design of unique equipment and technology. The pattern of the progress of deformation and stress distribution in the process of manufacturing of periodical corrugations in rolls has been obtained. The problem of stability loss of flat lateral elements has been solved analytically. Prosedure of defining energy power parameters of the process, real hight of a corrugation after unloading has been worked out. Production of a new efficient kind of metal products has been organized for the first time. The results of the investigation have been introdused when designing new specialized equipment, manufacturing profiles of high stiffness with the help of this equipment, using them at different metal consuming enterprises.(There are acts of introduction).
