Essay

In this dissertation new regularities of leukemogenesis were discovered by using results of re-search of cytological, immunophenotype and caryotype characteristics of hematopoietic cells. Research was conducted in dynamics in 198 patients with myelodysplastic syndrome, acute and chronic myeloid leukaemias. It was determined that different subtypes of myelodysplastic syndrome, subvariants of acute myeloid leukaemia and different phases of chronic myeloid leukaemia possesses structured im-age of bone marrow, caryotype characteristic of which allows a leukaemic clones identification. It was showed that hematopoietic cells immunophenotype expresses the level of expansion of such clones in hematopoietic system. Author proposes her own scoring system for myelodysplastic syndrome evolution prognosis. She had analysed differences in various forms of acute myeloid leukaemia that depends on the evolution pathways (de novo, post MSD or secondary). Author has developed new approaches to pathogenetic classification of acute myeloid leukaemia, extracted additional prognostic criteria for prognosis of chronic myeloid leukaemia, and described peculiarities of leukaemic clone in terminal phase of chronic myeloid leukaemia.
