Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of physical principles of the magnetic field transducers based on epitaxial iron garnet films (EIGF) with spontaneous magnetization direction close to the film plane and to the working out fabrication technology of those structures. The mathematical models of the magneto-optic visualization system, inductive and magneto-optic magnetic field sensors are developed. Requirements to active media are established, and technologies are worked out for fabrication of needed EIGF.
