Essay

The object of the investigations are apple cultivars. The purpose of the researches is the development the theoretical economic biological and organizational basis for the formation of the apple industrial assortment which corresponds perfectly to the conditions of the market relations. Scientific novelty - the theoretical pre-conditions for the formation of the optimal apple industrial assortment have been developed: the cultivars have been determined which have a high biological potential and are capa-ble of realizing it high effectively in the process of growing. Their quantitative optimum, regions of concentration and purpose of making products have been substantiated. The investigations are of great theoretical and practical importance for the restora-tion of the horticultural branch. Their results have been introduced in the specialized farms of Ukraine.
