Makarenko Є. International Information Policy: Structure, Tendencies and Perspectives.

The dissertation is the first all-inclusive research in the domestic political science of the global transformation in international relations system brought about by the communication globalization phenomenon and formation of information of XXI century; the modern state and trends in international information politics at different levels of international relations, i.e. global, regional and national, have been established and conceptualized; elucidated are major changes in the national policy in the sphere of information and communication through comparative analysis if the strategies of the national development under the circumstances of the marking of information society; the structure of international information policy has been analyzed; the information factors in the realm of economic, foreign affairs and international security are defined. The formation and development of the information society in Ukraine and international priorities of the national information policies have been explored in terms of global transformation if world politics; in addition, recommendations for the development and realization of foreign affairs strategies and securing the national interests in the sphere of international information relations have been suggested.
