3. The thesis is devoted to questions of complex study of Hypericum genus biologically active substances. The new sources of raw material of Hypericum for production of preparations with anti- depressant and anti-virus action - species from Adenosepalum, Hirtella, Taeniocarpium, Coridium sections are revealed. The new compounds of in dianthronic nature with given properties (solubility in water, small toxicity and high biological effect inde- pendent of light influence), - dianthrones water-solu- ble forms and glycosides are modelled and received; their anti-virus action is investigated. Methods of quality control of the first home antidepressive phyto- preparate and complex technology is developed.
