In the dissertation essentially new conceptual - methodical approach to the decision of a problem of developing speech creative activity of preschool children. Object of research - art - speech activity of preschool children. In the process of investigation notions "speech creative activity", "speech creative abilities", "musical and speech activity" has been determined, notions "speech creative work", "artistic and speech activity" has been defined more precisely and elaborated structurally; the facts as to the typology of speech creative activity of the children of senior pre-school age in the situations of special teaching and initiating creative work has been systematized and generalized, its role and character of interrelationship of different kind of children's artistic activity, criteria of evaluation and indices of development have been determined, the conditions of its promotion and development regularity has been established.
