Essay

Dissertation is devoted to solving problems of providing stability for the industriously intensively developed territories. Big cities, industrial (Donbass) and recreational areas (the Crimea) can be classified as such territories. Underground mining can function as both ecological and technical regulator. The tasks of providing stability for loess grounds under constructions with the simultaneous monitoring of their condition on the example of the city of Dnipropetrovsk, including the taking into account of probable seismic activity are considered. The scheme of underground hydro-electro-station, which is located in the mining workings of a coal mine under destruction (Donbass) is investigated. The stability of carriers (coal post and vaults of chamber) with the consideration of the coefficient of side thrust is considered. A new condition of strength for the mining working of none-deep laying is proposed. A new method of the evaluation of fragility of mining rocks is worked out.
