Essay

Thesis is devoted to the problems of the choice of design-engineering parameters of devices for reduction of a locomotive of sprockets wear. The criterion and its analytical expression is offered in view to the change of a contact area of a crest with a rail and "paths of friction" of points on a crest in relation to a rail. The criterion allows to forecast a wear of bindings at a stage of projection of locomotives. It is shown, what effectively reduces a wear of crests of the device for radial installation of wheel pairs in curves and pneumatic springs reduces roll stock of bindings of sprockets of the locomotive. The results of research have found industrial application.
