Mosenkis Y. The Problem of the Tripolyean Culture Language

The thesis is dedicated to the study of language relics of the Tripolyean culture. By means of analysis of the language cjncepts of the Tripolyean culture it has been determined that the most substantiated concepts is the interpretation of this language as a Pre-Indo-European substratum. The complex of methods appropriate for investigation of the language of the Tripolyean culture has been elaborated. The lexical units - common nouns and onomastic name - of the substratum origin in Ukrainian, in the Eastern Slavonic languages and Proto-Slavonic have been revealed. The main phonetic features and morphological elements of the substratum wereexamined.It has been established that the external links of the Tripolyean culture correlate with the linguistic connections of the investigated substratum.
