The dessertation deals with: - working out principles of technology of a hard-caving roof monitoring while driving workings in seams liable to sudden outbursts, current forecasting with physico-technical grounds for parameters of limiting the blasting unstrengthening of bedded workings' roof; - choosing the support type, physico-chemical methods of unstrengthening a hard-caving roof of seams liable to sudden outbursts; - developing closed rocktransport systems, means of mines mechanization and technologies of rockstowing favouring their long-term development and leaving the rock in mines.The effectiveness of the scientific work is grounded theoretically and confirmed practically. Main results of the dessertation have been used in industry.
