Essay

This dissertation is devoted to the study of the modernistic system of the artistic thought in the Ukrainian drama of the end of the XIX-th- the beginning of the XX-th century. Its for the first time that such author's ideological and aesthetic view systems as neo-romanticism, symbolism and expressionism are consider as independent and integral. Their genesis, formation and development in the Ukrainian drama of the above-mentioned period, their originality and value in the typological comparison with the West European drama and specific peculiarities of their poetics are investigated.
