Essay

Metodological principles and specific procedures for landscape ecogeochemical research within the zone of intensive technogenesis have been developed. The concepts of technogenesis geocomponents and urbanized landscapes, as well as principles of urban landscape classification have been grounded, Ukrainian urban landscapes main types have been characterized too. The main reasons for geochemical fields formation under the influence of atmotechnogenesis processes have been established for each individual urban landscape. A strategy for quantitative absolute geochemical monitoring of atmospheric and water contamination by heavy metals has been devised. The strategy has been applied to heavy metals atmogeochemical fields research and mapping in the towns.
