Essay

The object: dynamic processes in lexical-semantic system of literary language. The objective: system analysis (in diachronia and sinchronia) of the dynamics of lexical norms of the Ukrainian literary language of the XXth century. Methods: history-retrospective, comparative, descriptive, component analysis, quantitative, computer technologies. Results: the complex analysis of lexical norms of the Ukrainian literary language of the XXth century accomplished for the first time; process of lexical standardization with the account of historical context are examined; methods of investigation of dynamics of codified lexical norms, methods of utilization of computer technologies for investigation of dynamic changes in language have been developed.
