Kyrychenko V. Theoretical basing of sunflower breeding for practical using of heterosis effect.

Object: producing process in sunflower connected with the effect of heterosis in hybrids; Aim: to study peculiarities of heterosis' expression in hybrids, to establish a nature of biogenesis of fatty acids in mutants. To create a new initial material, lines and hybrids of sunflower; Methods: diallel, top and random crosses, methods of mathematical statistic and systematic analysis; Novelty: a strategy for the creation of line material to obtain hybrids having different compositions of fatty acids, adaptation potential and resistance to major pathogens has been elaborated; Results; there has been carried out differentiation of the line material by adaptation potential; there has been created a new selection material; there has been heterotic selection of sunflower; Stage of application: there have been inculcated 12 hybrids of various groups of maturity into agricultural production; there has been organized the production of high qualitative seeds in different regions of Ukraine; Application area: farmof all the forms of property and processing branch of agroindustrial production.
