Essay

In the thesis the laws of titanium- and nickel-based alloys ingots crystal structure formation in view of speeds of melt cooling in mold. Determined dependences of ingot metal hardening conditions in mold, and, accordingly, speeds of crystallisationtitanium alloy melt cooling from technological parameters of EBCH. Is established, that the high speeds of melt cooling allow to receive in alloy Ti-6Al-4V ingots an equi-axed structure on all the section of an ingot with homogeneous distribution of alloying elements, structural and phase components. The new method of melt spraying from intermediate capacity (EBHS) is offered. The mathematical model of an ingot formation from sprayed melt with use of compulsory cooling of an ingot is developed. The technology of EBCH slabs of a titanium alloy TI-6AL-4V is developed with equi-axed structure and isotropic mechanical properties is accepted in manufacture.
