Dariy V. Clinico-pathogenetical peculiarities of intracerebral complicated stroke and treatment optimization.

The thesis concerns the problems of increasing the level of diagnostics and the efficiency of the therapeutical and preventive measures in patients with intracerebral complicated stroke (ICS). Having summarized the results of the complex examination of 501 patients with stroke, the occurence of intracerebral complications of stroke was revealed, the conception of the pathogenesis was formulated, the criteria of diagnostics were outlined and their influence on the stroke results was established. Intracerebral complicated strokes have their peculiarities: they worsen bioelectric state, result in significant haemodynamic disorders and structural alterations of brain out of basic focus. The processes connected with freeradical oxidation and the changes of immunological blood and liquor indices are proved to have a considerable influence on the development and prognosing of ICS. It is established that ICS affects the appearance of extracerebral complications. The diagnostic-prognostic ICS system has been created and treatment optimization has pathogenetically been founded.
