Objekt: prose of Ukrainian writers at the end of 19th - beginning of 20th century. Aim: to eiucidate genesis and aiso the main aesthetic peculiarities of the Ukrainian literary impressionism on the brink of XIX and XX centuries. Methods: systematical, historical, hermeneutical, semiotical. Having systematically described the differences between impressionism literature and impressionism in painting, the author defined the main categories of poetics. Approved in 34 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
