Essay

The investigation represents results diagnostics and treatment of patients with non-inflammatory diseases of pancreas (NIDP) complicated with jaundice. Based on the results, methods of diagnostic and treatment approach were improved. For the first time the necessity of intraoperative morphological verification of NIDP, complicated with jaundice for proper operative treatment was proved. For the first time patients with fibrosis of pancreas (P) cirrhosis of (P) and cancer of (P), complicated with jaundice, were united in one clinical group. For the first time cirrhosis of (P) and its stages were described as a part of NIDP. Based on results, diagnostic algorithm and degrees of hardness of described diseases were evaluated. Methods of pre- and postoperative treatment were pathogenically grounded. Resultative pain-relieve method of paravertebral neurolisis for patients with NIDP, complicated with jaundice was applied for the first time in Ukraine. Original methods of surgical approach and operative tactics were created, which helped to reduce postoperative complications.
