Litus O. Diagnostics and therapy of chronic prostatitis with consideration of polyetiologic and polypathogenetic mechanisms of disease development and clinical running.

Dissertation is dedicated to theoretical generalization and new solution to the scientific problem of increasing effectiveness of diagnostics and treatment of chronic prostatitis, including cases complicated by prostate concrements using complex, individualized etiotropic, pathogenetic and local therapy with consideration of polyetiologic and polypathogenetic mechanisms of disease development and clinical running. The analysis of own and statistical researches reveals the wide distribution of chronic prostatitis and prostatitis which is complicated by prostate concrements among reproductive age male population of Ukraine. The diagnostics algorithm of chronic prostatitis and prostatitis, which is complicated by prostate, concrements was developed. The new original complex of therapeutical measures for treatment of chronic prostatitis was developed and implemented practically. This complex assists in breaking of disease pathogenesis chain, allows to achieve the complete sanitization of prostate, helps toresume its normal functioning, and in case of chronic prostatitis which is complicated by prostate concrements allows to avoid surgical operation.
