The dissertation is devoted to the comparative analysis of clinical and economic efficacy of various modes of surgical treatment and medical treatment in patients with BPH from the standpoint of evidence-based medicine. The determination of cost of surgical procedures and medical treatment was preformed related to the contemporary economic conditions of Ukraine. The algorithm of the choice of treatment method was developed based on the new classification of BPH.
