Essay

Object of the investigation is the mass leisure buildings (clubs, centers of culture and leisure, sports-and-sanitation complexes), of culture-and-entertaining (cinemas and video complexes) and religious purpose (orthodox temples and complexes) in the process of their appearance and development in intercommunication with other institutions for population service. The aim of the investigation is the determining of directions of the reformation and elaboration of the architectural-typological and normative-methodological foundations for the design of units of the sociocultural purpose with due regard for the modern social and economic conditions of Ukraine. Methods of investigation are based on the complex analysis of the social-economic, urban developing and network architectural-typological, normative-methodical problems and on the elaboration of the structural models. Scientific novelty of the received results lies in the fact, that for the first time on the basis of the further deepening of the scientific investigations and experimental elaborations as for the perspectives of the civil construction development; the historical regularities of the evolution of the architectural-typological peculiarities of the units of the sociocultural purpose (USCP); structure formatting principles and methodological foundations of the complex arrangement of the USCP net were elaborated; new flexible architectural and typological USCP models were proposed, which take into account historical-architectural traditions, modern cultural, religious, urban developing conditions and thous perspectives; proposals on the methods of design as the multifactor process, which must base on the system approach to the management of the quality of the design product were given; there was formed the new structural model of the improvement of the desing-bilding standard setting on the basis of method of developing of the normative documents and manyleveled system of them; directions were determined and proposals were given as for the perspective development of types of buildings, structures and their complexes. Practical meaning of the received results lies in their usage during the elaboration of the state programs, legislative-normative and conceptual documents in the field of urban development, architecture, residentual and cultural policy, as well as for the real design of dwelling regions, multifunctional complexes, public buildings, residential houses with premises of public service with the aim of the improvement of their architectural-typological and engineering-constructive decisions, their artistic expressiveness and economy.
