Vlasov V. Food problem in condition of globalization

Object of research: maintenance of mankind by the foodstuffs in condition globalization of world economy. The purpose of research: development of the offers and recommendations for maintenance of needs of the growing population of a planet in the foodstuffs on the basis of an estimation of a modern agriculture development, use of land and its preservation, and also influence of an agrarian science on agricultural production. Methods: the monographic, economic-statistical, system analysis and synthesis, demographic analysis etc. Theoretical and practical results. The new economic categories - stable growing agriculture, geoagro and globalagro, mechanisms of the resolving a global food problem at world and regional levels are offered. The ways of an advancement of Ukraine on the world market of the agricultural goods and perspective regional markets for them are determined within the framework of developed by NSC " Institute of agrarian economy " strategy of social and economic development of Ukraine (2004-2011). Scientific novelty. A complex scientific substantiation, theoretical generalization and resolving of a powerful scientific problem of development of agricultural production for maintenance of mankind by the foodstuffs for the first time is executed. The essence of concept of a food problem, it reason-consequence connection as disbalance between needs of the foodstuffs and opportunities of their maintenance is offered. Degree of introduction: the results of research are taken into account by the Supreme Rada of Ukraine, Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine at formation of the legislative documents, are used in educational process of higher educational establishments. Efficiency: will promote increase of a level of security of the population by the foodstuffs, improvement of use of land in an agriculture, strengthening a role of an agrarian science in growth of agricultural production, increase of volumes of export of production APK of Ukraine. Sphere, area of use: commanding and legislative structures, agroindustrial production of Ukraine.
