Essay

Object - potatoes cancer. Methods - field, laboratory, statistical. The thesis presents the results of researches into the problem of quarantine organism which causes the potatoes cancer. It has been studied the spreading and perniciousness of this disease, the amelioration of methods of its detection, new approaches in the selection of steady kinds and hybrids of potatoes with high resistance to potatoes cancer, the new method of protection of the soil using the small-fruit fields, which corresponds to sanitary and ecological standards, the method of model lots for the evaluation of level of soil protection, which helps in identification of pathogens of the disease, the use of special test for identification of aggressive pathogens of potatoes cancer and their characters. The work embraces many-side problems of potatoes cancer and presents many completed elaborations and propositions concerning the plant protection from the potatoes cancer within the zone of the moderate and high harmfulness of this disease. Branch of use - an agriculture, plant protection.
