Tsymbalyuk N. Institutional Modernization of the Cultural System of Leisure Time Spending in Ukraine.

The given research project frames theoretical and methodological basics for analysing institutional modernization processes of the cultural sphere of leisure time spending. The author examines contemporary problems, basic orientations, and special features of the development of the leisure time sector as an element of modern Ukrainian society. The development of the leisure time sector is surveyed in terms of institutional modernization processes. In this context institutional modernization covers various aspects of the complex transformation of functions and the structure of cultural facilities and forms of leisure time spending corresponding with emerging new lifestyles in Ukrainian society.
