3 The dissertation contains the results of diagnostics and surgical treatment of complicated forms of chronic pancreatitis, diagnostic and treatment algorithms have been created according to the data of retro and prospective analysis. Тhe optimal diagnostic algorithm has been worked out and improved classification of chronic pancreatitis and it's complications has been proposed, according to which the strategy of surgical treatment of this pathology has been established. Implementation of the proposed surgical tactics and original methods of surgical treatment in patients with complicated forms of chronic pancreatitis allowed to decrease the frequency of postoperative complications, to improve medical labor and social rehabilitation of patients during different terms after the operation and to minimize the postoperative mortality by 0.2%.
