Gamelyak I. The foundations of provision pavement('s) reliability

The dissertation is dedicated to the development of the general method of evaluation and support the road pavement reliability. Physical and mathematical models are proposed to ensure required level of structure reliability on the basis of system analysis. The theoretical foundations of homogeneity and reliability evaluation of road structure are developed for different limitation conditions. The technological reliability is investigated on the scaled models and in-situ. Prediction stochastic model of the structure life span is worked out in terms of stress-strain behaviour. The calculation method is introduced for flexible pavement structures on the project, construction and operational stages. The material authority, technology, construction and maintenance principles of structure reliability improvement are proposed; a new method of reliability optimisation is developed.
