Essay

The aim of the thesis is research of the essence of a state, the determination of its goals, role and destination in a society, the analysis of legal political, sociological and ideocratic theories of a state in Russia and Ukraine at the end of XIX century and the beginning of XX century. The object of the work is the illumination of a state as the organization of political power, the main institute of political system of society, its principal characteristics and tasks. The subject of the thesis reveals theoretical and methodological approaches to the definitiou of the essence, aims, role and destinatiou of the state in a society worked out by representatives of legal, sociological and ideocratic theories in a state science.
