Zamyatin P. Perfection of diagnostic and surgical tactics in victims with dominating damages of thorax and abdomen during early period of traumatic illness

The dissertation on competition of a scientific degree of the doctor of medical sciences on a speciality 14.01.03 – Surgery. – Institute of Surgery and Transplantology Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2005. The author performed the complex analysis of treatment of 775 victims with a polytrauma and experimental modelling of a polytrauma. It is noted, that the basic damages at a polytrauma were combination of trauma of thorax – in 29,9% and abdomen – in 36,4% a case. At studying influence of an experimental polytrauma on ultrastructure of cells of organs-targets of laboratory animals development of destructive changes submicroscopic architectonics. Developed differentiated diagnostic and surgical tactics with use of modern technologies has allowed to reduce in 1,9 times mortality in victims with dominating damage of thorax (Р?0,05) and in 1,5 times – at dominating damage of a abdomen (Р?0,05). Dissertational work shines new approaches in the decision of the scientific problem, quantities ofcomplications providing decrease of morbidity and mortality by improvement of results of surgical treatment of victims with dominating damages of a thorax and abdomen to the early period of traumatic illness on the basis of the developed complex of diagnostic, medical and preventive measures.
