Object: Old Russian church homilies. Aim: to reveal language alternative versions in identical semantic elements of different texts and provide with language interpretation of alternative versions. Methods: linguotextologycal, historical-comparative, hermeneutic-linguistic. Novelty: use of linguotextological method to the different memorials; linguistic interpretations of obscure passages of analyzed sources, historical lexicology, morphology, introduction to Slavic philology, in special courses of Slavic cultures history from the point of view of language data.
