Tofan N. Pathogenetic substantiation and development of a system of health resort treatment and rehabilitation of pregnant women with anemia

The thesis is devoted to scientific substantiation and development of a system of health resort treatment and rehabilitation of pregnant women with anemia, which is based on pathogenetically oriented application of health resort methods, exploitation of natural, physical and preformed means, depending on the type of anemia, degree of its severity, state of different functional systems and fetoplacental complex, term of pregnancy and accompanying pathology. Based on complex examination of 647 pregnant women (66 with latent deficit of Ferrum, 312 - with anemia, including 211 with Fe-deficit anemia, 101 with poly-deficit anemia and 269 - with standard indices of peripheral blood (without anemia) there were developed differential programs for health resort treatment of pregnant women with different types of anemia. It was proved that differential pathogenetically substantiated complexes of treatment measures positively influence clinical course, quality of life and state of different functional systems ofpregnant women (central and intracardiac hemodynamics, contractive function of myocardium, physical capacity for work, external respiration, erythrocytic chain of hemopoiesis and Ferrum metabolism, immunological status, psycho-emotional state and temper of a personality) and fetoplacental complex. In women with anemia after health resort treatment the quantity of complications of pregnancy, delivery and perinatal pathology decrease, better is the state of fetus and newborn.
