Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of improvement in diagnosis and treatment efficiency of vegetative dysfunctions in children. It was established that secondary mitochondrial insufficiency is one of the important link of the vegetative dysfunctions pathogenesis, arising on the basis of mitochondrial oxidative stress on the background of excessive activity of sympathoadrenal and/or renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, a free radical oxidation augmentation, reduction in the oxidnitrogensyntase function of endothelium, oxidative damage of mitochondrial DNA, mitochondrial respiration disorder and compensatory intensification of non-mitochondrial energy production. The differentiated therapeutic schedules were elaborated by including the drugs with nootropic, antioxidants, oxidnitrogenmodulating and hypotensive actions.
