Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of new progressive technological processes, the common characteristics of which are the transition from deforming-cutting broaching to the cold plastic metal working. The theoretical and experimental researches conducted showed the necessity for the development of calculation-experimental methods on the ground of creation ofthe complex approaches to the solution of applied technological problems. According to the mathematical theory of plasticity in the processes of the internal spline profile forming, pipes splinning, internal screw-tread forming, bending on mandrels of pipe and bar blanks, dies pressing and phenomenological theory of deformability implementation the engineering methods of calculation of influence of basic parameters of the processes on the quality and technological heredity of the finished products are developed. Application of calculation-experimental methods in combination with the up-to date achievements of the theory of plasticity, theory of deformability, the moment theory of membranes taking into account strengthening of metal made it possible to carry out a detailed, qualitatively new mechanical study of cold die forging of shaped blanks and practical application of the dissertation results.
