The dissertation is on the influence of romantic, naturalistic, realistic, impressional, modernistic trends in literature on the works of Ivan Franko judging by literary heritage of the writer, there are some definite individual and national peculiarities which are traced alongside with similarity with international invariants of theoretical models of those trends. Analysis of Franko's works enables to see the practical realization of those doctrines in the creation of Ivan Franko.
