Hlukhovtseva K. Dynamics of Ukrainian Eastern Slobozhanshchyna Dialects

Object – Eastern Slobozhanshchyna patois situated in South-Eastern dialect (Luhansk region). Subject: to clear up thr presence or absence of changes in the patois structure paining attention on different structural levels of the language. Methods: descriptive, elements of statistical, linguogeographical. Scientific novelty: for the first time in Ukrainian linguistics the dynamics of patois of the part of dialectal continuum has been complexly researched; the possibilities of modeling modern state and directions of patois development have been expanded; the index of dynamics of language unites has been defined and the register of relevant dialectal phenomena in Ukrainian Eastern Slobozhanshchyna patois has been worked out. Theoretical value: studying static and changeable links in the structure allows defining specifics of variation of language unites. Practical value: the results of repeated research of patois have been put into scientific use; techniques of studying dynamics of patois have been described. Field – Ukrainian language. .
