Essay

In 343 women, which were treated at Ukrainian Institute of Plastic Surgery "Virtus" and who complained on unsatisfactory state of skin, the complex clinical and laboratory diagnostic procedures were performed. Control group (47 women) was composed with women of analogous age with practically normal skin. Being based on histological, biochemical, hystochemical peculiarities of skin samples as well as on the basis of metabolic, biochemical, immunological and functional indices of skin state, four main morpho- functional types of skin were identified, namely- hypoestyrogenemic, hyperplastic, vascular and atopic ones. Individual complexes of treatment, which were based on established pathogenetical peculiarities of different types of IDD skin revealed more pronounced efficacy during both early and postponed (6-9 months from the moment of plastic surgery intervention) periods of worked out methods in comparison with traditional one.
