Essay

The new methods of conflict detection, conflict probability evaluation and conflict resolution are developed. The generalized stochastic method enables to estimate a conflict probability and collision risk with high reliability. Several methods based on prediction of aircraft position uncertainty area are developed, these methods give the analytical expressions in closed-form, take into account stochastic nature and time correlation of deviation from planned trajectory. The new probabilistic composite method enables to control safe separation standard in manoeuvre zones. The optimized stochastic conflict resolution method is developed. As an optimality criterion, it can be fuel consumption, flight time, passenger comfort, etc., and a safety measure is a probability of safe separation violation. The application of the developed methods of monitoring and resolution of the conflict situations solves the problem of ensuring of required level of flight safety in cooperative air traffic management system.
