Essay

The thesis is devoted to issues of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prophylaxis of pulmonary embolism. There were investigated the changes of hemodynamics, myocardial contractile function, external breathing function and gas exchange status as well as their relationship with embolization severity and localization, compensatory and adaptive mechanisms. Noninvasive examinations application algorhythm was proposed. The application of new approach have provided decrease of mortality rate from 29.4 to 15.4% and from 21.6 to 10% after surgical embolectomy and thrombolysis accordingly, as well as reduction of complications frequency amount and patient's life quality improvement.
